MLC Graduate Students Are Bloggers!
In recent months, several MLC graduate students have had articles published in the MLC blog "Issues in Lutheran Education." As Lutheran school leaders, they stimulate professional conversation among peers on topics such as student retention, special education, and flipped classrooms. The blog has about 500 followers and has been viewed nearly 20,000 times since its introduction one year ago.

Master's Grads Become MLC Adjuncts
MLC has recently approved several of its master’s program alumni as adjuncts for continuing education courses. These graduates display leadership in ministry, in scholarship, and in teaching ability. MLC has tapped these alumni to help other WELS teachers to grow in ministry.

New VP for Academics Announced
Graduate professor, Dr. Jeff Wiechman, recently accepted the appointment as the next MLC vice president for academics. Dr. Wiechman replaces Dr. David Wendler, who will retire at the end of June 2014.
