Biography:

Kenneth Kremer is a veteran educator, whose 43-year career has focused on the issues children and young adults face as they grow up in a complex culture that grows increasingly challenging for Christians. He has been especially active in developing curriculums that address the ongoing struggles that children encounter in their personal faith-walk. Since the beginning of its graduate program, he has taught a course entitled, “Family Issues in Education” for Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota.

Mr. Kremer holds a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee and has completed work toward a second graduate degree at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin.

After twenty years as a junior-high classroom instructor and principal in (WELS) Lutheran schools, Mr. Kremer accepted a position as a family counselor for Wisconsin Lutheran Child and Family Services, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There his duties gave him many opportunities to speak to parents about the blessings of the Christian home.

In 1992 Kremer accepted a call to serve as Family Editor for Northwestern Publishing House, where he remained until 2010. His assignments at NPH included design and editorial oversight of three magazines aimed at helping Christian parents carry out their spiritual nurturing responsibilities. Over a period of 18 years more than a hundred of Kremer’s articles appeared in denominational and professional periodicals. Three of his book titles were also published during this time. At this writing a fourth book entitled, “A Heart at Peace: Bible Strategies for Christians in Conflict,” is awaiting release. Mr. Kremer also recently completed a book commission that explores the principles and values of the Christian educational model. Its title is, “FOUNDATIONS: A Christian Education Primer for Parents.”

In 2010 Mr. Kremer accepted a retirement call to serve as a staff minister for Bethany Lutheran Church in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Mr. Kremer and his wife Marlis make their home in Appleton, Wisconsin. They have two adult children (Wendi and Paul) and take an active role in the lives of their six grandchildren. In his spare time Kenn enjoys photography, reading, writing, gardening, and composing music.
