Exercise Classes
Kickboxing: Come join Phil Janisch on Mondays at 8:00 PM for Kickboxing . This is a fun high energy martial arts class guaranteed to make you sweat! You will strike, punch and kick those calories away. Focusing on power, speed and endurance you will tone your entire body and burn fat and calories with exercises that use multiple muscle groups. All fitness levels. Class will run Mondays at 8:00 PM beginning January 14, 2013.
Chiseled: Challenging, High Intensity, Strength, Endurance, (and heart pumping) Drills. This is a high intensity class of intervals of strength, power, resistance and drills that will make you sweat! If you like P90X or insanity, you will like Chiseled. Classes will run Monday and Wednesday at 6:05 AM beginning January 14, 2013.
Orientations: The Fitness Center is now offering orientations. Would you like to learn how to use the equipment in the fitness center but don’t know where to begin? Let one of our supervisors take you through the equipment and show you the ropes. Orientations are held on Saturdays at 2:00. Sign up with the Fitness Center Supervisor.
Hip-Hop: Join Pedro Gonzalez on Wednesday night for hip-hop. Get ready to dance and sweat in this exhilarating cardio workout. Hip-hop is an addictive mixture of the latest dance moves and the hottest new music. Pedro will teach and rehearse the moves with you until you are ready for an all-out jam. Abs and upperbody workout included. Class will run Wednesdays at 8:00 PM beginning January 16, 2013.
Zumba: Join Edili Piccardo on Thursday nights for Zumba. Have fun and get a great workout at the same time. Zumba is an internationally known exercise class inspired by Latin – American music with easy to follow moves. Class will run Thursdays at 8:00 PM beginning January 17, 2013.
Stability Ball: Rachel Sturm will lead a Stability Ball class beginning Tuesday, January 29th 4:45-5:45 PM in the Aerobics room in the fitness center.
