Contemporary Music Resources

Up one level
Contemporary Music Materials
The folders contain contemporary arrangements including sheet music and in some cases audio files on various hymns and other songs.
MIDI Files
MIDI files are posted for hymns from Christian Worship as well as songs from other sources. The downloading and usage of MIDI files for songs that are under copyright requires the purchase of the needed copyright license. CCLI and OneLicense.Net are two that are very common.
Lead Sheets for CW hymns
These lead sheets are in pdf format, and contain the melody, lyrics, guitar chords and fret symbols for hymns from CW. Some use open E chord voicings with the melody retained in (often) the original key of F. You can play in E (and look at F), or you can capo up one fret so the music is also in the key of F.
Lead Sheets for songs from LAPPY
These lead sheets are in pdf format, and contain the melody, lyrics, guitar chords and fret symbols for songs from LAPPY (Let All the People Praise You).
Lead Sheets for songs not in CW or LAPPY
These lead sheets are in pdf format, and contain the melody, lyrics, guitar chords and fret symbols for songs that are not in LAPPY or CW.
Taize Resources
The audio files provide a small number of repetitions. Additional repetitions could be produced by copying and pasting in an audio editing program. Audacity is a good free program.
