But the MS Ed program provides even more:
On April 12, the Martin Luther College master’s program reached a milestone. Graduate student enrollment reached 100. We took time as a college to note the occasion with cake and to give thanks to the Lord for his blessings. Since the program began in 2004, more and more WELS teachers in all types of ministry settings have been using MLC’s program as one way to grow as teachers and serve faithfully.
Register NOW for summer courses. Some courses are full and others are nearly so. The three-week deadline for graduate student priority is May 18.
The April WELS Connection features two MLC graduate students who are in early childhood ministry. Minori Yamaki (MS Ed '11) and Maria Gines (current grad student) speak about the importance of Early Childhood Ministries in WELS.
On Saturday, May 19, 13 graduate students will be recognized for earning their Master of Science in Education degree. As they walk the stage to receive their diploma, they will set an example of faithful service for those receiving their bachelor’s degree and be an inspiration for all current master’s degree students. Twelve achieved this milestone while teaching! We thank God for their dedication and pray the Lord uses their professional development for the building up of his kingdom.
