Do You Remember YOUR Graduation?
Graduation day brings to mind the joy of past MLC master’s degree celebrations. Do you remember the excitement? Sometimes in the hectic pace of day-to-day activities and problem solving, it is good to reflect on the blessings God provides. We have provided a web page for you to relive that special day.
Sponsor an MLC Workshop
By completing your master’s degree, you are a leader in the teaching profession. One of your roles as a leader is to promote continuing education among your colleagues by sponsoring an MLC workshop in your area. Sponsoring a workshop is easy.
Alumni Updates
What’s up? The MLC graduate studies program is interested in knowing how God is blessing your life and ministry. Please send stories and photos. Your stories and ministry updates are interesting to other master’s alumni and provide encouragement to undergraduates and potential students. Your stories of ministry struggles or successes reinforce to others that master’s graduates are real people, and that they can be a graduate student, too!
Master's Graduates Make Excellent Presenters
Benjamin Bain, MS, will be making a presentation at the Minnesota District Teachers’ Conference in October on the topic of his capstone project – creating a program of mathematics problem solvers! Like Ben Bain, those who have completed their programs, especially those who completed a capstone, have gained wisdom from which other WELS educators can benefit.
Graduates of the Master's Program Can Always Access the MLC Portal
Please note: Whether you are a current student or former student, you will always be able to log on to the portal for your unofficial transcript and information about MLC events. You can also update your address and marital status.
MS Ed Graduates can obtain a Certificate of Technology
Now that you have received your MS Ed degree, what area of your ministry do you want to enhance next? How about Educational Technology? The Martin Luther College (MLC) Certificate of Educational Technology Program (CET Program) is designed for teachers in schools seeking to develop skills and strategies for integrating technology into a variety of PreK through college curricular settings.
Promote the MLC Master's Degree
You are our best advertisement. Interest among WELS teachers in continuing education is growing, and as an MLC master’s graduate, people will want to know from you what it’s really like to get a master’s degree from MLC. What will you say?
Be an Educational Leader
By virtue of your MS Ed degree, you are seen as a leader by your fellow teachers. One way you can demonstrate leadership is by sharing the importance of continuing education. MLC has many courses and workshops available that can meet the learning needs of WELS teachers.
