On May 16, program director John Meyer will graduate from the University of Minnesota’s PhD program in Educational Policy and Administration.
John's dissertation is entitled “Creating and Applying a Cognitive Change Model: A Trasdisciplinary (Education, Cognitive Psychology, Neuroscience) Approach.” His study combines a qualitative analysis of educators cognitive change experiences and education, cognitive psychology, and neuroscience research to create a model portraying the process of cognitive change. The model is useful for planning educator development, analyzing change conditions, and future areas of transdisciplinary research.
