Dr. Cynthia Whaley

Dr. Whaley helps MLC graduate students improve their classroom reading instruction. She teaches the course EDU5101 A Balanced Approach to Reading Instruction. EDU5105 is offered online this summer beginning June 11, and open seats still remain. Dr. Whaley is also one of our Teaching Reading instructors for undergraduates.

The Celebrate Literacy Award ceremony was part of a dessert reception at the Maple Grove Community Center. Dr. Whaley was one of two recipients of the award for 2012. The other recipient was Kari Ross, an Instructional Specialist in Reading with the Minnesota Department of Education.
