Adjuncts Expand MLC Grad Students' World!

last modified 2013-01-14 04:33 PM

MLC graduate students learn from experts in their fields. In addition to nine on-campus faculty members, graduate students have access to 17 adjunct faculty members. Adjuncts, WELS members who serve MLC's graduate program on a part-time basis, bring their unique perspectives to help our students grow beyond the walls of MLC.

Adjuncts Expand MLC Grad Students' World!

Dr. John Juern

They come to us from other higher education institutions, like Dr. Carol Angell and Dr. Delores Heiden of the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse; Dr. Michelle Abrego from the University of Texas - Brownsville; Prof. Joseph Du Fore and Dr. John Kolander from Wisconsin Lutheran College; or Daryl Hanneman, a school psychologist for Grant Wood AEA, Cedar Rapids IA.

Some adjuncts are actively involved in ministry and provide a practical, hands-on approach, such as Dr. Scott Gostchock, Dr. Dennis Gulczynski, Dr. John Juern, Kenn Kremer, Dr. Carrie Pfeifer, Dr. Gene Pfeifer, and Gail Potratz.

Our students are also blessed to learn from some who have had a lifetime of ministry wisdom and expertise and are now retired, like Dr. LeDell Plath and Dr. Rolland Menk.

And God continues to bless us with more men and women with the gifts to serve veteran teachers through our graduate studies program. We look forward to adding more of God’s talented people to our graduate studies faculty in the future. You can read more about each of our graduate faculty members online.
