Socializing online and homework merge

A recent study by JISC draws the conclusion that college students are increasingly mixing their social networking site with academic studies.

Use of social networking sites runs at plus 90%.  80% of students claim to be regular users.

Over 70% use their social networking to discuss homework with others.

Less than 40% thinks it's a good idea for teachers to use these sites for teaching purposes.
