Ask...

Like many people who walk into a department store, you probably don't go up to a store clerk and ask where to find something. Your choice for shopping is to browse first and ask later. Asking for help in any situation, even in getting driving directions is the last resort. Now, instead of asking directions you can do it yourself with a GPS system! Is the MLC library any different?

One new way in providing self help for our patrons will be a new site available on the library webpage in the Fall. It's called MLCAskalibrarian. This wiki provides information on contacting a librarian for assistance, a page where you can ask a question or make a suggestion about the wiki or library that we can respond to. You will find online resources in the folders. There are resources for research tips, video tutorials on searching the web and tools to make your life on the internet easier. I invite you to take a look at the site by clicking on the above link. If you want make a comment to the wiki you will need to be given authority from the editor. Find the "contact the editor" link at the very bottom of the page in small print. Or you can use this link: contact. This wiki is a resource tool in the works and I welcome you to share your thoughts and resources.
