MLC chapel project history

As part of its 150th anniversary, WELS members gave a thank-offering of $7.1 million to build a chapel on the MLC campus. The initial effort to build a chapel was delayed, but the need remains. In order to meet these needs—and also to fulfill the desires of donors who specifically designated their gifts for this project —a chapel planning committee was re-established last year. The committee worked with the understanding that any building project would use only gifts already pledged and given.
