Can I use iTunes in the dorm?

Information for students about using iTunes on the residential network.

Please follow these guidelines when using iTunes on your personal computer on the residential network:

  • Store your music on your personal computer. Do not store music on your I:\ (WINDATA) drive.
  • Disconnect from Novell before launching iTunes. The fastest way to do this is to log in to your computer in Workstation Only mode. If you use iTunes while connected to the Novell network, iTunes may store data on your network account, rendering your account unusable!
  • If you feel iTunes may have inadvertantly placed data on your network account, please call Network Services for assistance.
