Does the campus have wireless access?

last modified 2008-01-22 12:54 PM

Wireless access is available in public spaces.

Three wireless networks are available in public spaces around the campus.

  • MLC Guest WLAN - an unsecured connection available to anyone on campus. It allows access to the Internet. Ask any faculty member or the receptionist for the current password.
  • MLC Student WLAN - a secured (encrypted)  connection which requires you to log in using your Novell login and password. You will need to install the SecureW2  client on you computer to be able to login using the Student WLAN. This connection will give you access to the Novell network as well as the Internet.
  • MLC Academic WLAN - a secured (encrypted) connection for faculty and staff. It requires a Novell login and password to get access. The SecureW2 client is also needed to log in on this network.

The SecureW2 client is available here.
