Robyn Bretzing

Robyn's keynote presentation From Good to Great . . . Professionalism in PE inspires teachers to get out of their comfort zone and become the best PE teacher they can be! Through power point slides, bleacher dances, and collaborative games, teachers leave this presentation motivated to move and make a change!

Robyn Bretzing is a Physical Education Teacher and Alpine District PE Specialist at Timpanogos High School in Utah. She has been a physical education teacher for 19 years, a soccer coach for 17 and a UAHPERD Board Member for 7 years. In 2008, she was named UAHPERD and Southwest District Teacher of the Year. Ms. Bretzing has presented her fitness curriculum to school districts, universities and state conventions around the country. “I have a passion for what I teach and I want to share that passion with as many teachers as I can!!”

Her philosophy is to “offer every student the opportunity to succeed and gain greater self-confidence as they learn lifetime activities and improve personal fitness. I believe that what I teach will have a greater impact on the lives of my students than any other academic course. As the saying goes, “What good is knowledge without health?” The focus of my teaching is to find a lifetime fitness activity for every student and instill in them the desire to be fit for life!”
