Description: An introduction to marine ecology in a unique field and laboratory environment on the Caribbean island of Jamaica. Major habitats studied include turtle grass beds, mangrove swamps, coral reefs, estuaries, and tide pool and rocky shore communities.
Costs: The cost for the trip was $1825 and we are waiting for quotes from Jamaica to finalize the costs, based on a minimum of 26 students. All travel and ground expenses are covered, including round-trip airfare, transport on the island, room and board, and instructional fees. The only additional expenses to participants are incidentals and souvenirs.
