Baseball Loses Slugfest against Susquehanna
FORT PIERCE, Fla. - The MLC baseball team lost the third game of its season opening trip to Florida to Susquehanna by the score of 18-11 Saturday.
MLC had 15 hits in the game, led by four from Keoni Hill, while Aaron Stokke and Eric Mielke each had three hits.
The Knights fell behind by the score of 11-5 early in the game, but cut the deficit to one run at 11-10 with a five-run fifth inning. Mielke and Stokke each had RBI in the inning.
Susquehanna came right back, however, scoring seven more times in the next four innings to get the final margin.
MLC dropped to 0-3 with the loss, and will play a double header tomorrow (Sunday, March 4) against Westminster. Game one is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
