The Knights were unable to push a run across the plate in a 2-0 loss in game two that was shortened to six innings due to thunderstorms in the area.

Nemmers went the distance on the mound for the Knights in the loss, striking out two and allowing only one earned run (two runs total) in five innings.

MLC scattered nine hits in six times at bat, with Nemmers, Ziel and Joe Schmudlach each finishing with two hits in the game.

MLC will return to action tomorrow (Friday, March 7) for day two of its Florida trip in a double header against Marywood scheduled to start at 9 a.m. local time.
