ST. PAUL, Minn. - The MLC baseball team tied for fifth place in the UMAC preseason coaches poll.
The MLC baseball team tied for fifth in the UMAC preseason coaches poll
MLC finished last season 9-30 overall and 9-12 in the UMAC, good for a fourth place tie in the conference.
MLC returns five players with starting experience from last season, led by seniors Greg Holzhueter and Josh Schultz, while 2010 all-conference recipient Joe Janke also returns in the infield and on the mound.
St. Scholastica was picked to finish first in the poll, receiving six first place votes. Bethany and Presentation were picked to finish second and third, respectively. The full preseason release can be found at the link below.
