Justin Danell had 12 points and 12 rebounds in MLC's loss at BLC

MLC finished the night shooting 33.8 percent from the field, including 30.4 percent from beyond the three point arc, while Bethany shot 50.9 percent from the floor and 53.8 percent from downtown.

The Knights trailed by ten at the half by the score of 41-31, but was unable to get off to a quick start in the second half to erase the deficit.

The Vikings built a lead as high as 19 points in the game, making the deficit too big to overcome for the Knights despite one last charge in the final minutes to close the gap.

Galen Holzhueter finished the game with a team-high 15 points, while Justin Danell had 12 points and 12 rebounds. Justin Eternick joined them in double figures with ten points.

With the loss, MLC dropped to 0-9 overall, and 0-1 in the UMAC, while Bethany improved to 4-7 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.

The Knights will return to action on Friday, January 14, when they travel to Northland for a 7:30 p.m. game.
