MINNEAPOLIS - The MLC men's basketball team won its second consecutive close finish by the score of 72-69 at North Central Thursday.
Nathan Bauer (Lake Mills, Wis./Lakeside) once again hit the big shot for the Knights, breaking a 69-69 game with a tough jump shot in the lane to give the Knights the lead and help them to the win.

MLC shot the ball well throughout, particularly from the perimeter. The Knights finished the game at 49 percent from the floor, and also went 6-11 from beyond the three point arc, including three three-pointers from Eternick.
With the win, MLC improved to 4-11.
The Knights will return to action on Saturday, January 30, when they travel to Bethany for a 7:30 p.m. contest.
