The Muskies took control of the game late in the first half after a back-and-forth start, taking a 49-39 lead into halftime.

Lakeland would pull away at the end, however, finishing the game on a 9-2 run over the final minutes to come out with the win.

Galen Holzhueter finished as the Knights' leading scorer with 22 points and also grabbed ten rebounds and four steals. Luke Rothe struggled from the field, but still finished with 20 points and a team-high six assists. Todd Brassow was the third player in double figures for the Knights with 12 points on 4-6 shooting.

The Knights will finish their season-opening trip with a game at Marian tomorrow (Saturday, November 16). Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
