Holzhueter Named Player of the Week
ST. PAUL - MLC men's basketball player Galen Holzhueter was named UMAC Player of the Week Tuesday.

Holzhueter scored at least 20 points in all three of MLC's games, averaging 23.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game while shooting 55 percent from the field. Holzhuleter best game of the week came in a 76-63 win over Saint John's on December 10, as the junior forward tied a season high with 29 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to give the Knights their first win of the season.
Holzhueter currently leads MLC in both points (19.2) and rebounds (7.1) per game, and ranks third in the UMAC in both categories.
Holzhueter and the Knights will close the non-conference portion of the schedule with a home game against Marian tonight (Tuesday, December 18), and then a road game at Lakeland on Friday, December 21.
