Holzhueter Named Player of the Week
ST. PAUL - Martin Luther College men's basketball player Galen Holzhueter was named UMAC Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.

Holzhueter finished a record-breaking career with two strong games against good competition, leading MLC to a 1-1 record against UMAC tournament teams Minnesota-Morris and Crown by averaging 25.5 points and 15.5 rebounds per game while shooting 55.9 percent from the field and 86.7 percent from the free throw line.
Holzhueter finished with 24 points and 18 rebounds in Friday's overtime loss to Crown, and then scored 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a 71-66 win over UMM in the season finale.
In Saturday's win, Holzhueter set the new school record for career rebounds (680) and field goals in a season (197), while also becoming the second player in program history to score 500 points in a single season.
Holzhueter and the Knights finished the season 6-19, with Holzhueter leading the team in points (20.5) and rebounds (8.2) per game.
