Men Take Third at MLC Meet

NEW ULM, Minn. - The men's cross country team finished with six runners in the top 26 at the MLC Invitational Saturday morning, leading them to a third place finish.
Brett Schommer finished in 16th place at the MLC Invitational
Nathan Loersch led MLC with a fifth place finish and a time of 28:00, while Brett Schommer and Steve Pelischek also finished inside the top 20.
Nathan Schulte, Aaron Kristopeit and Ben Birner finished just outside the top 20, taking 21st, 25th and 26th, respectively.
Viterbo took first at the meet with a total of 44 points, besting North Central by six points. MLC finished with 82 total points.
