MLC Men Take Second at UMAC Championships

NEW BRIGHTON, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's cross country team tied for second at the UMAC Championships Saturday held at the Brightwood Hills Golf Course, with three runners earning All-UMAC honors.

Grey Davis took fifth at the UMAC Championships


Grey Davis, Darian Schnose and Noah Willitz were each awarded All-UMAC distinction for finishing in the top ten. Davis took fifth with a time of 27:48.8, while Schnose and Willitz finished eighth and tenth, respectively.

James Schuette took 23rd as the fourth finisher for the Knights, while John Wildauer rounded out the line-up with a 29th place finish.

The Knights finished the meet with 75 total points, tying them with Minnesota Morris for second place behind St. Scholastica.

As a team, the Knights also received the Team Sportsmanship Award, as voted by the coaches in the conference.

MLC will return to action on Friday, November 8, when they run at St. John's.
