ST. PAUL - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its academic awards for the fall sports season, and 66 MLC student-athletes received Academic All-UMAC recognition. The Knights also finished the highest team grade point average in six of the seven sports.

The Knights had the UMAC's highest team GPA in women's cross country (3.664), women's soccer (3.521), volleyball (3.420), men's golf (3.162), men's soccer (3.129), and football (2.985).

The 66 individual nominees met the criteria for the honor of having a GPA of 3.50 or better during the semester of competition.

The UMAC had 360 student-athletes from the fall season recognized, with MLC's 66 recipients the second most of any school behind St. Scholastica's 80 individual recipients.
