Fletcher, Duve Named All-UMAC
ST. PAUL – MLC football players Chuqee Fletcher and Eric Duve were voted Second Team All-UMAC by the coaches in the conference.
Fletcher, a two-time First Team All-UMAC player prior to this season, had another stellar season, finishing first on the Knights in tackles for loss (8.0), sacks (2.5) and quarterback hurries (three), while also finishing second on the team with 76 tackles.
Duve, a three-year starter, helped pave the way for a rushing offense that finished second in the UMAC and 25th in all of Division III with an average of 227.5 yards rushing per game. He also helped the offensive line finish third in the conference with only 13 sacks allowed on the season.
Quarterback Joe Lindloff was the MLC recipient of the Sportsmanship Award.
