Men's UMAC Postseason Tournament - Day 2
ALEXANDRIA, Minn. - The men's golf team shaved seven strokes off yesterday's score, shooting 332 for the day at Alexandria GC at day two of the UMAC Postseason Tournament, but remained in fourth place with one more round to play.
MLC has a two round total of 671 for the event, 11 strokes behind third place Northwestern, and 63 strokes behind tournament leader North Central.
Isaac Crass had the day's low round for MLC, shooting 78, which tied for the fourth best individual round Friday, while Sam Panning shot his second consecutive round in the 70s with a 79. Caleb Schultz shot 87, while Joe and Jacob Biebert shot 88 and 91, respectively.
Panning remains the highest finisher through two days in the individual competition in a tie for seventh place with a two round total of 161, with Crass just behind him in 11th place with 162.
The Knights will play in day three of the event at Alexandria GC tomorrow (Saturday, October 2).
