Goal by Danner Leads MLC to Win

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - MLC senior Andy Danner scored the only goal for the MLC men's soccer team in a 1-0 win at North Central Tuesday night.

Danner's goal came just before the half in the 44th minute of play. It was his first of the season.
MLC was outshot 17-10 for the game, but goalkeeper Ben Zietlow stopped all 11 shots he faced to pick up his second shutout of the season.
With the win, MLC improved to 3-2 on the season.
The Knights will return to the pitch on Friday, September 24, when they travel to Crown for a 4 p.m. start.
