Huebner Named All-UMAC

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Senior defender Jon Huebner (St. Paul, Minn./St. Croix LHS) was named First Team All-UMAC Tuesday for his play on the the MLC men's soccer team this season. Fellow seniors Evan Chartrand (Manassas, Va./LPS) and Brian Gephart (St. Joseph, Mich./MLHS) were named Honorable Mention selections

Jon Huebner was named First Team All-UMAC

Huebner started 16 of the Knights' 18 games for the season, leading an inexperienced group of defensive players along the way. He helped the Knights finish fourth in the UMAC in goals-against per game, and also added to the offense with 17 shots and one assist.

Gephart played both forward and midfield for the Knights and finished as the team's leading scorer with four goals and ten points for the season in 15 games.

Chartrand finished second to Gephart with three goals and eight points, and also led the team with 45 total shots and 18 shots on net, despite playing a lot on defense as well.
