ST. PAUL – Stephen Roekle of the MLC men’s soccer team was named UMAC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in helping the Knights to a win last week against Finlandia.
Stephen Roekle was named UMAC Offensive Player of the Week
Roekle scored both goals for MLC in a 2-0 win over Finlandia, with the second goal coming with the Knights playing with only ten players on the field because of a red card to another player. The goals were the first of Roekle’s career.
The Knights will begin the conference season on Friday, September 14, when they host Northwestern.
