Men's Tennis Loses at CSS
DULUTH, Minn. - The MLC men's tennis team struggled to a 9-0 loss at St. Scholastica Saturday afternoon.
Paul Koester and the Knights lost at St. Scholastica Saturday
Scott Henrich (Milwaukee, Wis./LPS) was the lone singles player on the team to force a third set in his singles match, losing his match at the number one spot by a final of 7-5, 3-6 and 7-10. Paul Koester (Milwaukee, Wis./LPS) also played well in defeat, losing his number three singles match 4-6 and 3-6.
In doubles action, Henrich and Koester teamed to come the closest to taking home a win, falling 3-8 in the number one spot.
With the loss, MLC fell to 2-5 overall and 2-3 in conference play. The Knights will return to action on Tuesday, April 20, when they host Buena Vista for a 3 p.m. match.
