Men's Tennis Season Ends at UMAC Tournament
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The MLC men's tennis team saw its season end Friday night in a 9-0 loss to Northwestern in the semi-final round of the UMAC Tournament held at the Baseline Tennis Center.
Northwestern entered the tournament as the second seed, while the Knights were the third seed after finishing the regular season with a conference record of 6-4.
The match started with NWC winning all three doubles matches by the scores of 8-3, 8-2 and 8-4.
In singles, the Eagles won all six matches in straight sets. At the top of the line-up, MLC seniors Scott Henrich and Paul Koester saw their final matches for the Knights end by the scores so of 6-1 and 6-4, and 6-2 and 6-1, respectively.
With the loss, MLC ended the year with a record of 6-6.
