MLC Men Fall at NWC

ST. PAUL - The MLC men's tennis team was unable to gain a point in a 9-0 loss at Northwestern Wednesday in a match held at Lifetime Fitness Center.

Ben Nommensen and the Knights lost 9-0 at NWC

All six players for MLC lost in straight sets, with the closest match coming in a 6-1, 6-3 loss in number four singles for William Scoggins.

In doubles, the Knights lost all three matches by the scores of 8-3, 8-1 and 8-2

With the loss, MLC dropped to 1-5 overall and 1-2 in the UMAC, while Northwestern improved to 8-6 on the season and 5-0 in league play.

MLC will return to action on Saturday, April 14, when it travels to UM-Morris for a match scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
