ST. PAUL, Minn. - The UMAC released its list of Academic All-Conference winners from the winter and spring sports seasons Tuesday, with 52 MLC student-athletes being honored. MLC also finished with the highest team grade point averages amongst UMAC schools in both men's and women's tennis.
"We're very proud of the work that our students do in the classroom, as well as on the playing field here at MLC," Athletic Director James Unke said.
MLC finished second in the UMAC in total individual recipients to St. Scholastica, which had 74.
To be selected as an honoree from a winter sport, an athlete must post a GPA of 3.5 or better in the semester they competed in. For athletes in a winter sport, an athlete must receive a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better in both semesters in which the sport was played.
