Brassow Wins High Jump at GAC

ST. PETER, Minn. - Martin Luther College men's track athlete Todd Brassow won the High Jump competition to lead the Knights at the Lee Krough Invitational on Saturday at Gustavus Adolphus College.

Todd Brassow set a new MLC record in the High Jump with a jump of 2.0 meters at GAC


Brassow took first place in the High Jump in a jump off with the second place finisher.

Grey Davis took fourth in the 1500 Meter Run to lead the MLC runners, with Darian Schnose (fifth in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase) and Matt Tessmer (seventh in the 400 Meter Run) also putting together strong performances.

In the throwing events, Martin Loescher took home fifth in the Javelin Throw and eighth in the Discus Throw, while William Chojnacki finished fourth in the Javelin Throw.

The Knights will return to action on Saturday, April 26, when they go back to GAC for a second meet this season.
