Men's Track Finishes Fourth at UMAC Championships

MORRIS, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's track team finished in a fourth place tie at the UMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at UM-Morris on Saturday.

Matt Tessmer took second in the 400 Meters at the UMAC Championships

MLC finished the meet with 51 points, tying with Northwestern for fourth at the event. St. Scholastica took first with 231 total points.

Todd Brassow was the top finisher for MLC, winning the High Jump competition for the second consecutive year with a jump of 1.90 meters.

Matthew Tessmer finished second in the 400 Meters with a time of 51.54, while Grey Davis (5000 Meters). John Wildauer (400 Meters) and Darian Schnose (3000 Meter Steeplechase) finished third in their respective events.

In the field events, Wildauer finished fourth in the Javelin Throw, while Andrew Tiarks finished fifth in the Shot Put and Discus Throw events. Ben Snyder finished sixth in the Triple Jump.
