Two Take Top 10 at Gustavus
ST. PETER, Minn. - The MLC men's track team had two individuals take home top ten finishes at the Drake Alternative track meet at Gustavus Saturday.
Ben Birner finished seventh in the 800 Meter Run
Andrew Loescher took second place in the Javelin Throw in the meet with a throw of 52.14 meters, the second consecutive meet in which he finished second in the event.
Ben Birner also had a top finish, taking seventh in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:05.43.
Other MLC athletes who finished in the top 20 in an event were Mark Waldschmidt, who fniished 12th in the High Jump, and Micah Foelske, who took home 18th in the Javelin Throw.
This was the last regular season meet of the season for the track team, with the UMAC Championships being held next Saturday (May 7) at Minnesota Morris.
