ST. PAUL, Minn. - Erica Babinec (Onalaska, Wis./Luther) was named UMAC Player of the Week in women's basketball for her play in last week's road trip.

Babinec finished the week with an average of 18.5 points, six rebounds and seven steals, but did the most damage in the Knights' 64-56 win at St. Scholastica Friday night, when she scored a career high 34 points, and also finished with eight steals and seven rebounds. For the game, Babinec shot 10-20 from the field, 2-4 from beyond the three-point arc, and a perfect 12-12 from the free throw line.
Babinec and the Knights will return to action on Thursday, January 28, when they travel to North Central for a 5:30 game.
