ST. PAUL – MLC women’s basketball player Amanda Burk was named UMAC Player of the Week for her play last week for the Knights.
Amanda Burk was named UMAC Player of the Week in women's basketball
Burk scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds in MLC’s only game last week, a 76-71 loss to Buena Vista on November 22. Burk shot 9-15 from the floor, and also finished with four steals and two assists.
For the season, Burk is averaging 15.2 points and a team-high 10.0 rebounds per game, and is shooting 52 percent from the field.
The MLC women will return to action on Saturday, December 4, when they travel to Mayville St. for a 3 p.m. game.
