Babinec averaged 19 points, seven rebounds and 3.5 steals per game in the two-game tournament, helping the Knights to a 1-1 record. In MLC's 61-57 win over Dominican, the senior guard scored 23 points and grabbed ten rebounds. She also went over 1,200 points for her career over the weekend, joining her sister Emma as the only MLC player to reach that number.

This is the fifth time in Babinec's career that she has won the Player of the Week award, having won it twice in each of the last two seasons.

Babinec and the Knights will return to action on Monday, November 28, when they host Waldorf for a 5:30 p.m. game.
