Alex Anthon had 11 points in a loss at Northwestern (Iowa)

The Red Raiders, winners of three NAIA Division II championships in the last four seasons, jumped on the Knights from the start, building a big lead the Knights were never able to overcome.

Alex Anthon and Erin Schmeling each finished with 11 points to lead the Knights, who struggled to find much offense throughout the game.

MLC dropped to 0-3 on the season in defeat, while Northwestern improved its record to 6-0 with the win.

The Knights will return to action on Thursday, November 21, when they host Viterbo in the home opener at 5:30 p.m.
