Allison Snyder Named Player of the Week
ST. PAUL, Minn. - MLC women's soccer player Allison Snyder was named UMAC Defensive Player of the Week for her performance in goal for MLC last week.

Snyder helped MLC to a 2-1 record for the week, with wins coming over North Central and Crown by the scores of 5-0 and 4-0, respectively. Snyder also saved 16 shots in MLC's 1-0 loss at Northwestern on Saturday.
For the week, Snyder stopped 27 of the 28 shots she faced on goal.
Snyder's season to date has her among the UMAC leaders in several goalie categories. She currently ranks first in the UMAC in saves (106), and third in the conference in saves per game (10.6) and save percentage (.841).
Snyder and the Knights will return to action tonight (Tuesday, October 12) when they travel to Bethany to take on the Vikings.
