ST. PAUL – MLC women’s soccer player Bethany Schultz was named UMAC Player of the Week after helping the Knights to a 1-1 week, including an 8-0 win over Finlandia Saturday.
Bethany Schultz was named UMAC Offensive Player of the Week
Schultz scored three goals in the game against Finlandia, setting a new career high for goals in one game. She finished the game with a team-high nine shots, four of which were on net.
With her three goals Saturday, Schultz moved into a tie for fifth place on the MLC career records list with 21 goals.
MLC will start the conference season on Friday, September 14, against Northwestern.
