MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The MLC women's soccer team beat North Central 1-0 Tuesday evening on a goal by Hannah Janke.

Hannah Janke scored the lone goal in a 1-0 MLC win at North Central

Janke scored in the 32nd minute of play off a corner kick to break the scoreless tie. The goal was Janke's first of the season. Bethany Schultz picked up the assist.

MLC outshot the Rams 16-8 for the game. MLC goalie Lindsay Sandwith stopped all eight shots she faced to pick up the shutout.

With the win, MLC improved to 3-3 on the season.

The Knights will return to the pitch on Friday, September 24, when they travel to Crown for a 2 p.m. start.
