MLC Baseball and Softball Teams Raise Money for Breast Cancer Awareness

NEW ULM, Minn. – Two students involved in spring sports at Martin Luther College were able to find a way to make a difference, raising money for breast cancer awareness in a promotion titled “For the Love of the Game.”

Free Named All-UMAC

ST. PAUL - MLC senior softball player Sarah Free was named First Team All-UMAC by the conference coaches Monday, while sophomore outfielder Madeline Scott was named Honorable Mention All-UMAC.

Softball Double Header against North Central Canceled

The MLC softball double header scheduled for today (Tuesday, May 1) has been canceled. The game will not be made up.

Softball Swept by St. Catherine

NEW ULM, Minn. - The MLC softball team lost both games of a home double header to St. Catherine Monday by the scores of 2-1 and 8-3.

Softball Splits Final Two UMAC Games

ASHLAND, Wis. - The MLC softball split its final two conference games of the season Saturday at the UMAC crossover held at Northland, beating Crown 10-0 before losing 10-2 to Northwestern.
