Biedenbender Named Softball Player of the Week Again
ST. PAUL - MLC softball player Andrea Biedenbender was named UMAC Softball Player of the Week for the Second time this season after helping MLC to a 4-0 record last week.
Biedenbender hit .615 in four games, going 8-13 with five doubles. She scored five runs, and led the team in runs batted in (seven), on-base percentage (.688), and slugging percentage (1.000).
On the season, Biedenbender is tied for the team lead with a batting average of .491, and leads the team in RBI (18), slugging percentage (.774), on-base percentage (.563), runs scored (20), and hits (26).
Biedenbender and the Knights will return to action Friday, April 19, when they play Northwestern in the West St. Paul Dome in a double header scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
