The Saints jumped out to an 11-0 lead after three innings on the way to taking down the Knights 13-4 in five innings.

Sarah Free (Plover, Wis./LPS) was not able to hold down the Saints on the mound, allowing 11 runs (nine earned) on 15 hits in three innings of work to drop to 6-6.

Karla Opperman (North Branch, Mich./North Branch HS) put the Knights on the board with a home run in the fourth inning, while Jessica Henning (Redwood Falls, Minn./Redwood Valley) hit a two-run double in the fifth to finish the scoring for MLC.
