Softball Predicted to Finish Fourth
ST. PAUL, Minn. - The MLC softball team tied for fourth place in the UMAC pre-season poll voted on by the coaches in the conference.
The Knights return nine players from last season's team, which finished 18-17 overall and finished fifth in the conference with a UMAC record of 10-10.
St. Scholastica was picked to win the conference by the coaches, getting a the maximum of seven first place votes and 49 total points in the voting. Northland College finished second in the poll, with Northwestern coming in third and Minn.-Morris tying MLC for fourth.
